Acute Diseases

Acute diseases are typically those of rapid onset, brief and oftentimes severe in nature. Primary Care Center is available to the community Monday through Saturday from the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on holidays with the equipment and resources necessary for acute care treatment. Our doctors are able to provide treatment and management of non-life-threatening acute diseases including fractures, sprains, sports injuries, exacerbation of asthma, lacerations, dehydration, bee stings, poison ivy, animal bites, common cold, pneumonia, and many more. Following the acute care management of the illness or injury, patients are followed up by our physicians in a primary care non-urgent setting.
