Men's Health

Men's healthAt Primary Care Center, we understand that stigma and social embarrassment do not allow most men to feel comfortable talking about some men's health concerns. As every man should know, men's health issues involve prostate health, sexual function, erectile dysfunction, sexually transmitted diseases, testicular self-exam to screen for cancer, and genetic hair loss. At Primary Care Center, our board-certified physicians administer appropriate blood testing to understand physiological aspects of sexual dysfunction as well as psychological testing to understand the psychological components of sexual dysfunction. You will be taught when and how frequently to perform testicular self-examination. Our physicians can discuss your medical options and treatments which may include hormone therapy, counseling on treatment and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV, herpes, syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, hepatitis, and much more. If necessary, our primary care physicians will consult and refer to appropriate specialists, including but not limited to, urologists, infectious disease specialists, endocrinologists, psychologists, dermatologists, and genetic counselors.
