Meet Dr. Shikh

Physician. Longevity advocate. Author. Innovator. Entrepreneur. Community leader.

Dr. Shikh, Primary Care Center physician

35+ Years of Medicine, and Still Looking Forward

Dr. Shikh is an internal medicine physician whose career has been built around caring for people across the full spectrum of adult health, from acute illness and primary care to chronic disease management, prevention, metabolic health, and healthy aging.

He has served the Atlanta community since 1994. Over more than three decades in medicine, his practice has evolved from traditional internal medicine into a broader model that brings together primary care, same-day acute care, chronic care, prevention, and longevity medicine.

Today, that combination defines Primary Care Center. A patient can come in because something is wrong today, continue treatment for diabetes, hypertension or another chronic condition, or begin a more proactive conversation about weight, metabolic health, strength, function, prevention, and the decades ahead.

The Long View of Health

Dr. Shikh began developing his longevity-focused work in the early 2000s, long before longevity became a mainstream health conversation. His interest grew from a practical question encountered every day in internal medicine: how can medicine do more than treat disease after it appears?

His approach connects conventional medical care with prevention, nutrition, physical activity, metabolic health, weight management, sleep, healthy aging, and preservation of function. The objective is not to promise a particular lifespan. It is to help patients improve the factors that influence how well they live as they grow older.

This philosophy now informs Primary Care Center’s expanding work in longevity medicine, medical weight management, men’s health, women’s health, preventive medicine, and chronic disease care.

Author & Health Educator

Clinical practice is only one part of Dr. Shikh’s work. After years of research and writing, he developed The Longevity Blueprint, a comprehensive project centered on the science and practical application of healthier aging.

That work has expanded into The Longevity Kitchen, focused on nutrition and eating patterns for long-term health, and Longevity Fitness, focused on movement, strength, physical capacity, and exercise across the lifespan.

These books are part of a much larger publishing program. Dr. Shikh is developing thirteen additional health and longevity titles intended to explore major dimensions of health in greater depth.

His goal as an author is the same as his goal as a physician: translate complex health information into practical decisions people can actually use.

Digital Health, Media & Innovation

Dr. Shikh is also developing a dedicated longevity health app designed to extend education beyond the clinic and books into a practical digital experience.

His growing educational platform will also include longevity, health, business, and lifestyle content through podcasts, blogs, video, and a YouTube channel.

Outside Primary Care Center, separate ventures support his author and media work and the development of longevity-focused nutritional and wellness products. These businesses remain distinct from the medical practice while sharing a broader interest in health education, prevention, and healthy aging.

Dr. Shikh is often described as a physician-entrepreneur. His work has crossed medicine, healthcare operations, publishing, digital health, education, and product development, with each project built around a different way of improving access to useful health information and resources.

Beyond Medicine: Community & Service

Dr. Shikh’s connection to health has always extended beyond the walls of his medical practice. Over the years, he has contributed time and leadership to civic, educational, cultural, business, nonprofit, and public-health initiatives in the Atlanta community.

His community involvement has included service with educational and cultural organizations, Chamber of Commerce activities, and cancer-prevention initiatives, including participation in an American Cancer Society HPV Prevention Workgroup. He has also served in leadership and board capacities with community organizations including Gwinnett Technical College, Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra, and Sandy Springs Education Force.

That involvement reflects a broader view of wellness. Healthy communities depend not only on medical care, but also on education, culture, opportunity, prevention, civic participation, and people willing to invest time in the places where they live and work.

Still Practicing. Still Creating. Still Building.

After more than 35 years in medicine, Dr. Shikh continues to see patients while building the next chapter of his work in longevity medicine, health education, publishing, digital health, and healthy aging.

For long-time patients, that means continuity with a physician and practice they have known for years. For new patients, it means access to an experienced internal medicine physician who can address today’s medical concern while also taking a longer view of tomorrow’s health.

Live healthier. Stay stronger. Think longer term.
